## In short

Ignura is a growth team for software founders, B2B or B2C.

For activation, we find the onboarding step where new users drop off, test fixes side by side and keep what works, in four weeks from $8,000.

It comes with a guarantee: named in 5 of your 20 buyer questions by week 4, or you don't pay the second half.

Start with a free 15-minute Growth Check.

Ignura is a growth agency that improves user activation for startups from pre-seed to Series A, B2B or B2C. We find the onboarding step where new users drop off, test fixes side by side and keep what works.

Start with a free 15-minute [Growth Check](https://ignura.com/book?utm_source=site&utm_medium=problem-activation), and you'll leave with a free growth breakdown and strategy.

## Who it's for

Startups from pre-seed to Series A, B2B or B2C, that get sign-ups but don't see those people come back. It sounds like yours if:

- People create an account and never finish setting up.
- Most new users don't reach the moment your product is useful.
- You can't say which step in onboarding loses the most people.
- Your welcome emails go out, and nobody acts on them.
- You keep paying for sign-ups that never turn into active users.

## How we fix it

### Find: the Growth Check

15 minutes, free. You tell us where people go quiet. We name what's behind it, live, and show you three ways we'd fix it. You leave with a free growth breakdown and strategy, whether or not you hire us.

### Build: Ignite, four weeks

In week 1 we set up tracking on each step from sign-up to first use, so we can see where people leave. In week 2 we run two or three fixes side by side, such as a shorter first session, a different first step or a new welcome email sequence. In week 3 we cut the losers and back the winner. In week 4 we push the winner and write the Growth Map: which fix won, the numbers behind it, the playbook to keep running it and every asset we made.

### Run: Burn, every month

We keep running what won and test one new thing each month. Each month you get a one-page growth report, written to paste straight into your investor update.

Not ready for four weeks? The trial week tests one fix for one week, so you see how we work first.

## Pricing

Every price is in US dollars, wherever your company is registered.

- **The Growth Check:** Free. 15 minutes, always the first step.
- **The trial week:** $1,000 for the week. It counts as Ignite's first week: go ahead, and the other three weeks are $7,000.
- **Ignite, the four-week build:** $8,000, fixed. Paid 50% to start, and the other 50% after four weeks, only if we hit the result.
- **Burn, the monthly run:** $4,000 a month. One month's notice to stop, no minimum term.
- **The founding offer:** our first three clients get Ignite for $5,000 instead of $8,000.

## Questions

### What do you guarantee?

Named in 5 of your 20 buyer questions by week 4, or you don’t pay the second half. We agree the 20 questions with you in week 1 and measure where you stand on ChatGPT search and Perplexity. By the end of week 4, at least 5 of those 20 answers name you, on either engine; if you’re already named in 5 or more at the start, the bar is 5 more than your starting count. Same questions, same engines, measured the same way, and you see every answer. It holds when you approve drafts within 48 hours and give us access by day 3. We don’t promise revenue, and the first half isn’t refunded.

### What does an activation agency do for a startup?

It finds where new users stop between signing up and getting value, then changes what happens at that step. We track each step from sign-up to first use, test two or three fixes side by side, such as a shorter first session or a new welcome sequence, and keep the one that moves the most people through.

### What does a user activation agency do?

It finds where new users stop between signing up and getting value from your product, then changes what happens at that step. We do it by tracking each step, testing two or three fixes side by side and keeping the one that moves the most people through.

### Do you build or change our product?

No. We don't build or fix the product. We work on what sits around it, such as onboarding emails, the sign-up flow and first-run copy. When a fix needs a change in the product, we write it up and your team ships it.

### What counts as activated?

You decide with us on day one. It's one action that shows a new user got value, such as creating a first project or inviting a teammate. We track that event in your analytics, so we're both looking at the same number. To check your current rate, try our free [activation rate calculator](https://ignura.com/tools/activation-rate-calculator).

### What's a good activation rate?

For SaaS, around 30% to 37% is typical, which is where the medians sit in two public benchmarks. [Lenny's Newsletter](https://www.lennysnewsletter.com/p/what-is-a-good-activation-rate) found a SaaS average of 36% and a median of 30%, and [Userpilot](https://userpilot.com/saas-product-metrics/) found an average of 37.5% and a median of 37% across 62 B2B SaaS companies. The milestone you count changes the number more than anything, so compare with your own past cohorts first. Our [SaaS activation rate benchmarks](https://ignura.com/blog/saas-activation-rate-benchmark) put each figure next to its definition.

### How is this different from a guide on improving activation rate?

A guide tells you what to try. We run the tests for you and keep the winner going. If you'd rather do it yourself first, read [how to improve your activation rate](https://ignura.com/blog/how-to-improve-activation-rate).

### How much does it cost?

It's priced in steps, never by the hour. The Growth Check is free, the trial week is $1,000, Ignite, the four-week build, is $8,000 fixed, and Burn, the monthly run, is $4,000 a month. Any tool costs sit in the channel budget, from $4,000 a month at cost with receipts, outside our fee. The full breakdown is on [Pricing](https://ignura.com/pricing).

### Who is this for, by stage?

Software founders, B2B or B2C, that get sign-ups but lose most of them before first use. If only a handful of people sign up each week, talk to them yourself and follow our guide on [how to improve activation rate](https://ignura.com/blog/how-to-improve-activation-rate), since small cohorts swing too much to test against. Come to us once sign-ups arrive every week and nobody owns onboarding. We work on onboarding emails, the sign-up flow and first-run copy, so your team keeps building the product.

### What if activation isn't our real problem?

Then the Growth Check will say so. If people aren't signing up in the first place, we'll point you at that instead, and the growth breakdown and strategy are yours either way.
